DiSHI: the Digital & Sexual Health Initiative

We are a public health research team at the British Columbia Centre for Disease Control, where we focus on finding practical solutions to real-world health problems that improve the overall health of communities. Our team includes researchers, implementers, and people from the communities that we work with and serve who face challenges accessing appropriate health services. Our main research focus is on programs and services related to digital public health and sexual health. For example, a lot of our research has focused on GetCheckedOnline, BC’s digital testing service for sexually-transmitted and blood-borne infections.
