Workshop — Changing the narrative on HIV and STBBI testing: Innovation and community reflections

HIV and STBBI testing is an essential component to sexual health. Lived experiences of testing amongst GBT2Q highlight the need for innovations in this space. There is an urgent need for disruption from traditional healthcare provider-focused models of testing. Using a narrative inquiry approach, which focuses on storytelling and lived experiences, this workshop at Summit 2020 explored community narratives on HIV and STBBI testing. During the workshop, research findings about awareness and acceptability of innovative testing services including GetCheckedOnline were shared.
