Kai Jacobsen is an Interdisciplinary Studies PhD student and Vanier Scholar supervised by Dr. Drew Clark and Dr. Mark Gilbert. Their research seeks to improve gender-affirming health care for trans and nonbinary people using strengths-based approaches that promote gender euphoria. Outside of school, Kai enjoys cycling, swimming, and reading queer romance novels.

Joshun Dulai is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Population and Public Health, University of British Columbia. They are a queer South Asian person who grew up on the unceded territories of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh nations (Vancouver). Joshun has over a decade of experience working in the area of 2SLGBTQIA+ health, BIPOC health, sexual health (STBBI prevention), and mental health.

Mark is a settler of European descent and grateful to be living on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. He is a public health physician at the BC Centre for Disease Control, and an Associate Professor in the School of Population and Public Health, University of British Columbia and hold an Applied Public Health Chair. His work and research focuses on testing for sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections, digital public health, and sexual and gender minority health (and how they are all related!). Outside of work, you can find Mark riding his bike, watching B-movies on Netflix, or trying his best to parent a teenager.
